iList was originally developed in the Natural Language Processing Lab in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Development team
The main creator and developer of iList is Dr. Davide Fossati. Other people that contributed to the development of iList are Lin Chen and Dr. Christopher Brown. The iList project was supervised by Dr. Barbara Di Eugenio, director of the Natural Language Processing Lab at UIC.
Libraries
iList uses the following libraries:
- JGraphT, a powerful library to represent and manipulate graphs in Java.
- Simplenlg, a Java library that provides surface realization of natural language sentences.
